To complete a tour permit, select from lists of vehicles
and trained leaders to identify how we are going to get there (vehicles tab)
and that we have sufficient trained leaders (training tab).
To get on these lists, individuals must sign-in to My
Scouting and enter vehicle and training information. Even if you have taken
training on line, you
need to enter the dates into the training tab for tour permits.
Sign on to My Scouting.
My Scouting (call the council if you have registered but do not
have your card and number yet)
Look in the left column under Unit Tools and select
Tour Permits
Across the Tour Permit page are tabs for Start, Enter
Vehicle, Enter Training, &etc.
On the Enter Vehicle tab scroll down to see the input
section of the form, enter your information and then select Save.
Do the same with training on the Enter Training Tab.
On line training is done within the My Scouting
log-in also. In the left column where you selected Tour Permits look for
Training/e-Learning to see your current training status and take training as
needed.
The person that creates the tour permit can now
select vehicles and individuals to complete the permit.
Vehicles are added to the Tour Permit on the Step 3
tab. Select the check box, select Save Transportation, then select
Update my Permit.
Trained individuals are added to the Tour Permit on
the Step 4 tab. Select the check box, select Save Transportation, then
select Update my Permit.
